MMA - Varna with 7 Ultra-Modern Operating Rooms

The Military Medical Hospital-Varna, part of the Military Medical Academy (MMA), now features seven fully renovated operating rooms. They meet the latest requirements for safety, efficiency, and precision. This was announced by the medical institution.

The rooms were built following the model of over 30 similar facilities at the central MMA hospital in Sofia. The new conditions at MMA – Varna are part of the management’s long-term strategy to modernize all military hospitals in the country. The rooms are constructed according to the highest standards in technological equipment, in line with the professionalism of the medical staff working in these structures.

Over 5,200 surgical interventions were performed at the Naval Hospital during the past year. This is a clear indicator of the scale of activity and patient trust. The facility’s scope of work provides treatment options with specialists in general surgery, thoracic surgery, urology, gynecology, orthopedics and traumatology, gastroenterology, as well as in the key and unique for Eastern Bulgaria clinic of “Thermal Trauma, Plastic-Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.”
