The Ministry of Health announced five competitions for hospital management boards

The Ministry of Health has announced five competitions for hospital management boards. These concern the boards of hospitals in Sliven – MBAL “Prof. Dr. Ivan Seliminski”, Gabrovo – MBAL “Dr. Tota Venkova”, Razgrad – MBAL “St. Ivan Rilski”, Montana – MBAL “Dr. Stamen Iliev”, and Sofia – USBALO “Prof. Ivan Chernozemski” EAD.

In all five hospitals, the competitions are being announced due to the expiration of the management boards’ mandates. The mandate is for a 3-year period.

The deadlines for submitting application documents for the hospital competitions are as follows: Sofia – January 7, 2026; Razgrad and Montana – January 8, 2026; and Sliven and Gabrovo – January 9, 2026.

Last week, a competition for the Executive Director of UMBAL “St. Anna” was also announced on the Ministry of Health’s website, due to the expiration of the current director’s mandate. The management contract with the selected candidate is concluded for a term of 3 years or until the expiration of the board of directors’ mandate, should a new governing body be elected.

One of the requirements is for candidates to present a concept for the development of the enterprise and their contribution to its management. The deadline for submitting documents to participate in the competition is January 5, 2026.
