These provide the necessary conditions for intensive care and resuscitation during long-distance transport.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the new equipment, the Military Medical Academy can simultaneously perform air evacuation for up to five patients in critical condition. The equipment is certified for use on board aircraft and allows for rapid installation in emergency situations.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The medical institution emphasizes that the MMA is the only hospital in the country that possesses both the necessary equipment and specially trained medical teams for this type of activity. In coordination with the Bulgarian Air Force, they can respond to disasters, accidents, and other crisis situations requiring the rapid transport of casualties.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Professor Lyubomir Aleksiev, Head of the Department of Aviation and Maritime Medicine, the new equipment significantly enhances the capabilities for providing medical assistance in extreme conditions.
