Vladimir Afenliev has been appointed as the Chairman of the Commission, replacing Dr. Boyko Penkov. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Afenliev is a specialist with extensive management experience in health policy, the pharmaceutical sector, and strategic business development. He holds a Master&#8217;s degree in International Economic Relations and Management from the University of National and World Economy and possesses additional qualifications in business and strategic management obtained in the United Kingdom and Japan. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout his professional career, he has held leadership positions in both national and international pharmaceutical companies. He also served as Director of the Directorate for Medicinal Products, Medical Devices, Dietary Foods, and Aids at the National Health Insurance Fund. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Afenliev plays an active role in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors through participation in numerous Bulgarian and European industry organizations.
