Prof. Mikhail Okoliyski, Deputy Minister Prof. Antonia Dimova, and representatives of the National Food Council. Emphasis was placed on children&#8217;s health and the development of sustainable habits from an early age. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a specific measure, the integration of 32 academic hours of health-related topics into the existing curriculum is being discussed. The Ministry will contribute expertise and develop materials on topics such as healthy eating, physical activity, mental health, and addiction prevention. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Health states that coordination with the Ministry of Education and Science will continue, with a joint meeting scheduled to finalize the specific steps.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the discussion, progress in the quality of food and beverages in the country was also noted, with data showing that 75% of the beverages offered are now without added sugar.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe health of the nation begins with the informed choices of our children,\u201d stated Assoc. Prof. Okoliyski.
