Prof. Mikhail Okoliyski at a ceremony at the Ministry of Health, the department announced.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDuring this past year, my team and I worked with the conviction that everything we achieve together is in the interest of Bulgarian citizens. I am satisfied with the projects implemented, but I realize that much work remains,\u201d stated Assoc. Prof. Kirilov during the handover. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For his part, the new minister emphasized that during the term of the caretaker government, he will rely on continuity in the department&#8217;s work, while simultaneously striving for greater optimization and intensity in the implementation of ongoing initiatives. Among his main priorities are the current projects under the Recovery and Resilience Plan. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI will focus my efforts on prophylaxis, early diagnosis, prevention, and better communication regarding health risks,\u201d stated Assoc. Prof. Okoliyski.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He indicated that a significant focus of his activity will also be the finalization of the Ordinance on the terms and conditions for financing projects for activities related to the protection, prevention, treatment, and therapy of gambling addiction.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMaternal and child health will be my personal priority, and we will concentrate our efforts on resolving the accumulated problems in this sector,\u201d the new health minister added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Silvi Kirilov officially handed over the post of Minister of Health to Assoc.
