These data were presented during the National Forum for Science, Prevention, and Technology &#8216;Stress off \u2013 Tech on&#8217;, opened by the Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Petar Gribnev. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cStress is an invisible enemy that affects both physical and mental health. We live in a world of constant connectivity and high expectations, which often leads to a feeling of burnout. Therefore, we must build an environment with access to knowledge, support, and science-based solutions,\u201d stated Dr. Gribnev.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He emphasized that in recent years, state policy has gradually shifted the focus from primarily funding treatment to more serious investments in prevention. Funding for outpatient care has been increased, the scope of preventive examinations has been expanded, and measures are being taken regarding chronic non-communicable diseases. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to data cited at the forum, mental health problems cost the European Union economy over 4% of gross domestic product, or more than \u20ac600 billion annually.
