Prof. Mikhail Okolijski, held a working meeting with the Mayor of Sofia, Vasil Terziev, to discuss opportunities for joint policies in the areas of child health, psychiatric care, and access to healthcare services. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the main topics of the conversation was the role of medical specialists in nurseries and kindergartens, as well as opportunities to support programs for the social-emotional development of children.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Health indicated that efforts are currently focused on preparing the Annual Plan for Early Childhood Development for 2026, as well as resuming work on the Strategy for Early Childhood Development.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, issues related to improving psychiatric care and access to services were also discussed, along with the activities of the Prevention and Information Centers for Addictions.
