He replaces Assoc. Prof. Silvia Terezova, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Health.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prof. Getov is an expert with extensive experience in pharmacy, healthcare management, and drug policy. He graduated from the Medical University of Sofia and holds a PhD and specializations in clinical and hospital pharmacy. During his professional career, he has served as President of the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union and Deputy Minister of Health. Since 2020, he has represented Bulgaria on the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use at the European Medicines Agency.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same decision appoints Aksiniya Atanasova to the Council, replacing Assoc. Prof. Lyubomir Bakalivanov.
