Parents of children under 18 also have automatic access to their children&#8217;s health records through the National Health Information System (NHIS) and the eHealth mobile application. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to changes in vaccine registration nomenclatures over the last two decades, numerous checks were performed during the transfer to minimize potential errors and duplications.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Health emphasizes that this is another important step in the development of the electronic patient record\u2014moving toward more reliable, structured, and easily accessible medical information for citizens and medical professionals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Historical data on immunizations administered to Bulgarian citizens have now been integrated into electronic health records, the Ministry of Health reports.
