Ministry of Health: No Hospital Directors Dismissed for Political or Electoral Reasons

The Ministry of Health has not made any decisions to dismiss heads of medical facilities for political or electoral reasons. This was reported by the department.

A comprehensive review of audits and inspections conducted in recent months is currently underway. In the capacity of principal, the Minister is obliged to familiarize themselves in detail with the condition of every state medical facility; should violations be found, actions will be taken within the framework of the law, the Ministry added.

“Linking hospital management with the electoral process is speculation. On the contrary—if it is established that health system resources are being used for electoral purposes or manipulations, this will be terminated immediately.

The healthcare system should not be a field for political suggestions or pressure. The Minister’s priority remains guaranteeing access to quality healthcare for citizens and ensuring stable and predictable working conditions for doctors and medical specialists,” the Ministry of Health concluded.
