NHIF Supervisory Board Approves Hospital Budgets for Summer
The Supervisory Board of the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) will approve the monthly values for hospital medical care activities for June, July and August 2026 at today’s meeting. This is evident from the published draft agenda.
The funds are for activities that will be paid for in July, August and September 2026 respectively, with the allocation proposals prepared by the directors of the 28 regional health insurance funds.
The meeting is also expected to discuss the necessary funds for the new children’s hospital in Burgas, which is scheduled to begin operations on June 1.
The Supervisory Board will also approve the indicative values for medical devices and medicinal products that NHIF pays for outside the value of the hospital care provided for the same period.
