NHIF organizes National Open Day on May 18

The National Health Insurance Fund and the regional health insurance funds across the country will hold a National Open Day on May 18, the institution announced.

The initiative is part of the “NHIF for You” information campaign, aimed at more active communication with citizens and easier access to information regarding the health insurance system.

The Fund indicates that the next stage of the campaign, “NHIF with You,” has already begun, through which institutional teams visit various settlements to speak directly with people and assist with specific cases.

In recent years, NHIF representatives have held meetings in nursing homes, schools, universities, and municipalities, providing information on the rights of insured persons and the functioning of the system.

On May 18, visitors will be able to get a close look at the work of the NHIF and speak with the Governor and Deputy Governor of the institution, directors of departments in the central administration, and experts from regional structures.

The health insurance fund emphasizes that the goal is to promote transparency, trust, and active dialogue with patients.

“The NHIF places the patient at the center of its activities and recognizes that trust is built through proximity, transparency, and active communication,” the institution stated.
