BSN and BAPHC Sign First Memorandum for Joint Training of Medical Specialists
The Bulgarian Society of Neurology (BSN) and the Bulgarian Association of Professionals in Health Care (BAPHC) have signed a first-of-its-kind memorandum of cooperation in the field of continuing education, the association reports.
The document was signed by the Chairman of the BSN, Acad. Ivan Milanov, and the Chairwoman of the BAPHC, Diana Georgieva, and aims to improve the qualification of healthcare professionals through the exchange of expertise and joint educational initiatives.
The agreement provides for the creation of a special session for healthcare professionals within the framework of the National Congress of Neurology, as well as the organization of remote and in-person training with lecturers from the BSN. Part of the activities include updating knowledge in the field of neurology, developing training programs and materials, and conducting joint scientific forums, seminars, and webinars.
The BAPHC emphasizes that continuing education is among its main priorities. Over the past year, the organization has conducted 68 courses with the participation of over 7,500 medical specialists from across the country.
The conclusion of the memorandum is part of a broader strategy for partnership with scientific medical societies, with new agreements in various fields of medicine expected to be signed by the end of the year.
