Dr. Yavor Drenski remains director of the Rahila Angelova General Hospital in Pernik

The current acting director of the Rahila Angelova General Hospital in Pernik, Dr. Yavor Drenski, will continue to lead the medical institution. This is confirmed by the final results of the competition for the post, published on the website of the Ministry of Health.

Dr. Drenski took over the management of the hospital temporarily until a competition could be held, after the previous director, Emil Nenkov, resigned in May last year.

He was the sole candidate for the position of executive director and successfully passed all three stages of the competitive procedure. As a result, Dr. Drenski will head the Rahila Angelova General Hospital for the next three years.

Prof. Krasimir Gigov, who was also the sole candidate for the respective position, will serve as the state representative in the hospital’s management team.

The Board of Directors is completed by Dr. Atanas Petkov, who ranked first in the competition for an independent member. Stanislav Nikolov ranked second for this position, according to the competition results.
