For over €6 million: Tender announced for the design of the National Children's Hospital

A public tender for the design of the National Children’s Hospital, valued at over €6 million including VAT, has been announced by the Health Investment Company for Children’s Hospital and published in the Public Procurement Agency.

The estimated value of the service is €5,040,817.93 excluding VAT, or €6,048,981.52 including VAT. The contract covers the preparation of conceptual, technical, and working designs, as well as the exercise of author’s supervision during construction until the facility is commissioned.

The project involves the construction of a multi-profile hospital for active pediatric treatment with a large-scale structure—26 clinics and departments, 20 operating rooms, an outpatient diagnostic block with 38 consultation rooms, 26 procedure rooms, and 7 rooms for invasive activities. Also included are a day hospital, imaging and nuclear medicine departments, a laboratory complex, an administrative and economic block, as well as a helipad and parking.

The requirement is for the design to comply with all current medical standards and regulatory requirements.
