NHIF pays for all reported dental activities for December 2025

The National Health Insurance Fund will pay in full for the dental activities reported by dentists for December 2025, the institution announced.

The Fund specifies that after an analysis of the reports submitted by dentists, it was established that the funds requested for payment for the month are higher than the usual levels of dental activity. Nevertheless, after reviewing the data and applying the control mechanisms provided by law, the NHIF will transfer the invoiced amounts to its contractual partners.

The issue was discussed at a working meeting between the leadership of the National Health Insurance Fund and the Bulgarian Dental Association. The Fund assures that payments will be made following a verification of the lawful expenditure of public resources.

The NHIF emphasizes that the actions taken are within its regulated powers and aim to simultaneously guarantee correct payment for the work performed and compliance with financial discipline.
