Samokov to Host the 8th National Congress of Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology

The 8th National Congress of Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology will be held in Samokov from September 26 to 28, 2025. The event will bring together leading Bulgarian and international specialists to discuss the latest achievements and innovations in the field.

The extensive scientific program will focus on innovative approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation, new technologies and strategies for long-term control, as well as advancements in heart failure therapy through implantable electronic devices. Topics will also include the role of artificial intelligence and telemonitoring for a personalized approach to patient care, along with the latest European guidelines for the prevention of sudden cardiac death.

The forum will place a special emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration between electrophysiologists, clinical and invasive cardiologists, and other specialists, aiming to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in practical sessions reviewing real clinical cases, as well as hands-on training with simulators for lead implantation and cardiac resynchronization therapy systems.
