The Ministry of Health expands the 'Health Library' in eHealth with information on stroke

The Ministry of Health continues to expand the content of the ‘Health Library’ module within the electronic health record and the eHealth mobile application, the institution reports.

With the assistance of ‘Information Services’ and in partnership with professional and expert organizations, the library provides verified and accessible information on key health topics.

On the occasion of World Brain Health Week, a new section has been created with the cooperation of the Bulgarian Society of Neurology. It includes information on risk factors, early symptoms, and the appropriate course of action when a stroke is suspected, as well as practical prevention tips.

Special attention is given to the rapid recognition of symptoms through the ‘БЪРЗО’ model, which corresponds to the international FAST approach and aims for timely response and seeking medical assistance.
