Young doctors to protest again on October 7

Young medical professionals have announced a new protest on Tuesday, October 7. The event will commence at 5:30 PM in the square in front of the Ministry of Health, where participants will express their dissatisfaction with the lack of real changes in the sector. The procession will then continue along Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. and conclude at Orlov Most Square, according to the “Future in Bulgaria” initiative committee.

“Our patience with the institutions has been exhausted. Half a year after the protests began, there are no results. We are tired of empty promises, delays, and the shifting of responsibility. We demand real action, and we demand it now!” state the young medical professionals in their call to protest.

The organizers specify that the funds for the protest were collected entirely through donations. According to them, the sum of 960 BGN, raised in less than 24 hours, is sufficient to cover the necessary costs for sound equipment, materials, and water for the participants.

“Unlike certain institutions, we have nothing to hide. Anyone who wishes to do so can review the expenditure report,” the organizers emphasized.
